Andrew Kay

(Born 1955), B. Pharm., President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Andrew Kay joined Algeta in 2009 from a position as Executive Director Commercial, Renovo Group Plc, a UK listed pharmaceutical company. At Renovo, Mr. Kay was responsible for all of the Company's commercial activities. Mr. Kay's career spans over 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry including retail pharmacy, production, marketing & sales, country management and global marketing. Previously positions include Head of Global Marketing and Sales for Novartis, where he was a member of the Executive board in Basle Switzerland. Prior to Novartis he was Head of Business Management and Country Management with AstraZeneca, Head of Zeneca Diagnostics, Vice President Marketing Zeneca USA, Marketing Manager and deputy General Manager Stuart UK, and International Brand Manager with Eli Lilly in Italy. Earlier appointments included retail pharmacy management, production management, sales, and product management. Mr. Kay is a British citizen and resides in the UK. Thomas Ramdahl

(Born 1956), PhD, EVP and Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Thomas Ramdahl joined Algeta in 2001, and served as President and CEO until 2009. Prior to Algeta, Dr. Ramdahl was Senior Vice President, Operations, at Pronova Biocare AS from 1998 to 2001. Pronova Biocare AS is a world leader in the manufacture and development of Omega-3 fatty acids for pharmaceutical, industrial and consumer applications. At Pronova, Dr. Ramdahl headed all operations including raw material sourcing and manufacturing of bulk products, nutritional supplements and pharmaceutical products. Prior to Pronova, he held several senior executive positions with Norsk Hydro ASA, including its pharmaceutical; oil and gas; and petrochemical divisions. Prior to this he was a research scientist with more than 40 publications and a co-inventor of 5 patents. Dr. Ramdahl gained a PhD in environmental chemistry from the University of Oslo (1984) and an MSc in organic chemistry from the Norwegian Institute of Technology (1979). Dr. Ramdahl has also been engaged in executive training at IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland. Thomas Ramdahl is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Bærum, Norway. Kari Grønås Dyvik

(Born 1964), MScPharm., Senior VP Operations

Ms. Dyvik joined Algeta in 2006. Before joining Algeta, Ms. Dyvik was employed for 4 years as Manager Pharmaceutical Development at PhotoCure ASA, a listed Norwegian biotech company which is one of the main players of photodynamic therapy. At PhotoCure, she was responsible for research, development and manufacturing of its drug products, and acting as the qualified person for placing products on the market for Europe. In addition she was project leader for one of PhotoCure's core projects, which was approved in Europe. She also has significant experience of dealing with the FDA. Earlier Ms. Dyvik worked 13 years with development and management of new drug products at Nycomed ASA and Amersham Plc (now GE Healthcare). Roger Harrison

(Born 1954), PhD, Chief Business Officer (CBO)

Dr. Harrison joined Algeta in 2007. He has more than twenty years' experience in business development and pharmaceutical licensing. During this time he has been responsible for the commercialization of several innovative antibody therapeutics and NCEs, spanning current marketed drugs and those in clinical development. Before joining Algeta, Dr. Harrison was Senior Vice President at the London-based development and licensing organization BTG plc, where he was responsible for establishing productive partnerships with a variety of major pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. He oversaw the establishment of BTG's oncology strategic business and their global pharmaceutical licensing team. Earlier in his career he spent ten years with Amersham in research management (now GE Healthcare) in the USA and UK. Dr. Harrison received a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Manchester in the field of novel oncology drugs. He is a British citizen and resides in the UK. Ragnhild M. Løberg

(Born 1953), MScPharm, Senior VP, Quality and Regulatory Affairs

Ragnhild Løberg joined Algeta in 2002. Prior to Algeta, Ms. Løberg was Quality Director from 1999 to 2002 at Pronova Biocare AS, a world leader in the manufacture and development of Omega-3 fatty acids for pharmaceutical, industrial and consumer applications. At Pronova, Ms. Løberg was responsible for all quality related matters, and her accomplishments included FDA approval of a large manufacturing facility based in Norway. Ms. Løberg has 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical sector including regulatory responsibilities. This has included Director of Microbiological Department, Hydro Pharma AS and Director Galenical Department at Pronova AS. Ms. Løberg has a MScPharm. degree from the University of Oslo (1978). Gillies O'Bryan-Tear

(Born 1955), MD, MBA, Chief Medical Officer (CMO)

Dr. O'Bryan-Tear joined Algeta in July 2009 as CMO. He has more than 20 years' pharmaceutical industry experience in senior roles managing and advising on the clinical development and registration of new drugs and vaccines. He has extensive development and clinical knowledge in oncology and has developed and successfully launched major oncology products. He has worked both as an independent consultant to and in-house for a number of leading biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. He is the former Vice President of Global Clinical R&D at GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals, spent two years as Interim Medical Director for Genzyme UK, and was previously medical director in the UK and Northern Europe for Bristol-Myers Squibb.

Dr. O'Bryan-Tear had been Acting CMO for Algeta since March 2009 and has been a consultant to the Company on the clinical development of Alpharadin® since 2004.

Øystein Soug

(Born 1969), MSc, Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Øystein Soug joined Algeta in 2008. Prior to Algeta, Mr. Soug worked for six years within fast moving consumer goods for the Norwegian industrial group Orkla. The last three years of which were as CFO of Orkla's Russian confectionary arm Sladco. Prior to Sladco, Mr. Soug worked with M&A in Orkla's Corporate Development division. Mr. Soug started his career as a banker with Credit Suisse in China and as a banker and banking consultant with the EBRD in Russia. Mr. Soug received a MSc in Economics and Financial Markets from Universität St.Gallen in Switzerland in 1997. He is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Oslo.
